The Goal of RTW Programs

Return-to-Work (RTW) programs support injured employees in transitioning back to the workplace safely and productively. These programs benefit both workers and employers by reducing lost time, maintaining skills, and promoting recovery through meaningful work.

Benefits of Return-To-Work Programs

  • Speeds up physical and mental recovery after injury.
  • Promotes engagement and preserves job familiarity.
  • Minimizes disruption to team productivity and project flow.
  • Reduces compensation costs and risk of long-term disability.

Modified Duties & Accommodations

  • Temporary reassignment to lighter or alternate tasks.
  • Reduced hours or adjusted work schedules during recovery.
  • Ergonomic support or equipment modifications.
  • Collaborative planning between employer, worker, and health care provider.

Worker & Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Injured workers must communicate clearly about their restrictions.
  • Supervisors must ensure duties remain within medical guidelines.
  • Both parties should maintain regular check-ins on progress.
  • Confidentiality and respect must guide the process at all times.

At GamaSafety, we believe recovery and contribution go hand in hand. Our Return-to-Work approach focuses on support, inclusion, and safe reintegration for every injured team member.
