Forklifts are essential in many worksites, but they can be extremely dangerous if not operated properly. Forklift-related incidents often involve collisions, tip-overs, or contact with pedestrians—all of which are preventable with proper training and awareness.

Common Safety Failures

• Operating without certification or proper training.
• Speeding, sharp turns, or uneven terrain.

Pre-Use Checklist

• Inspect brakes, horn, steering, and hydraulics.

Safe Operation Guidelines

• Keep arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.
• Travel with loads low to the ground and tilted back slightly.
